please please be aware of this company, I am having the same problem and am very hurt at the moment. They rang me up on the 18th of November 2013 and start talking to me about this miss selling mortgage and how they can help to get me compensation of 18000 pounds. I did think it was too good to be true, and I even said this to them, but they were just very clever in what they were doing. I somehow got into their talk and gave them all my mortgage details and then he asked me for my credit card number, and that they could help me clear the outstanding balance. m&s(my credit card) been charging me extra interest. over the time I been with them. I don't still know how this all happened but I gave them all my credit card details and also signed this electronic email, Three different people spoke to me in all this process, They said to me that they were not going to charge me its a good news, and that they will deduct 15% once the compensation is paid out. I was very happy at that point, they all sounded very professional and nice people but really it was not the true, they lied to me. I had a very busy evening that day and did not really have time to think what I did. My husband was abroad as his father was very ill. Luckily I .did not mention anything to him when he rang, as I wanted to surprise him. However that night when I went to bed I reaiised what I had done, My heart skipped a beat I quickly got up and phoned my credit card company. I could not believe my ears when they said that my account has already been debited with £2342. I cannot explain how I felt at that time. they could not stop the payment as it was pending. The next morning I rang them up to cancel it. They asked me the reason and I said cause you never mentioned that you were going to charge me, (I think its the same lady with two different names Lisa and laura) She said no we did tell you. let me go and listen to the recording and she came back and said yes we did mention it and you agreed. I said no one would agree to pay this large amount upfront, and I said whatever I want to cancel and am not interested and want my money back. She said we have to send you a cheque, and could not put the refund on to your card. They said I will receive my cheque on the 12th of December. I was not happy to accept that as i wanted the refund before my husband arrived back, but she kept on saying sorry that is our company policy and our company is very busy. She promised that they are not a fraud company and it will be processed on that date. She sent me an email that they will send me a cheque. On the 10th of December I rang to find out about my cheque, guess what the answer was? oh we are very sorry under unforeseen circumstances we are unable to process your cheque and that it will be processed next week on the 19th. She also confirmed that in writing by email. Today is the 18th and I rang them up spoke to one of the girls who first said laura (lisa) is on her break and will call me at 3:30, at 3:30 there was no phone call so I rang the same girl answered and said can I help, I asked her about my refund she said yes sure your cheque will leave here tomorrow and get to you by Friday or Saturday, by recorded delivery. I asked her to confirm that in writing, so she answered oh let me confirm it and I will send you an email before 6:30 today. I received no email at 6:15, so I rang and the answer machine was on sorry we are closed. I will keep you up to date on this as I do not want any one to go through this and make the same mistake as me. I have many sleepless nights i do not know what is the outcome to this. My credit card company are very supportive and very helpful. Take care and please be aware and alert at all times.
